BOTSWANA AND ZIMBABWE

By Steve Edwards - Published on Jan. 12, 2021
In June 2018, Steve and Jackie returned to Africa. After a visit to Victoria Falls and Zimbabwe National Park, they crossed into northern Botswana and spent time at three tented camps. The first two were close to the border with Namibia and the third was further south, in the Okavango Delta. Transport between the camps was by chartered light aircraft. Two of their most sought-after species were the Painted Wolf (aka African Hunting Dog) and the Secretary Bird. After fifteen game drives and one boat trip, these hopes had been well and truly fulfilled but they did, of course, see much more besides. This is an illustrated account of the trip.
