Over many years, Steve and Jackie have undertaken a project to see, in the wild, every species of non-passerine bird that belongs to a monotypic family. This has taken them to many parts of the world and culminated, in 2017, with a Himalayan trek to try and see the Ibisbill, the final bird needed to complete the project. This is an illustrated account of the trip.
