During the spring of 2019, Steve and Jackie visited Guyana. On the way there they stopped on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia where they spent three nights. Once in Guyana, they stayed for fourteen nights, spending most of their time in the interior of the country. They were escorted in Guyana by a naturalist guide, Waldyke Prince, who ensured that they saw as much of the flora and fauna of the region as was possible. Before returning to the UK, they stayed for five nights at Cuffie River Nature Retreat on the small island of Tobago.
