In 2015, Steve and Jackie spent two weeks on safari in Uganda, a tailor-made tour with a driver/guide to themselves, organised by Naturetrek. They experienced the diversity and abundance of wildlife in the country's National Parks but the highlight and key target was the extraordinary Shoebill, a bird that is the only species in its family. This is an account of their trip.
