In August 2007 Steve and Jackie travelled to the Atlantic coast of Canada on a fly-drive trip organised by Wildlife Worldwide. Starting in Halifax, Nova Scotia, they drove north to explore Cape Breton National Park where they had close views of a Black Bear and were astonished to encounter a Canadian Lynx. From there they took a ferry across to Prince Edward Island for a brief visit. Then they crossed the Confederation Bridge into New Brunswick and finally they spent a few days on the island of Grand Manan in the Bay of Fundy before returning to Nova Scotia.
